Complainer vs Producer

We all have experienced that one person in life, who is always down in the dumps, or forever crabby. As soon as they enter the room, the vibe changes. It is an actual effort to remain, with them in the space. These people can make your life miserable. They make it bad to attend family get-togethers. They can cause you to not want to go into work. They literally suck the life right out of you.

That’s what negativity does. It sucks the life out of you. It slowly kills you. Not fooling.

Miserable people spread misery. That is their sole job on this earth. They sit at home and watch “reality” tv. They watch talk shows. They watch the news religiously. They crave watching the anguish of another. Their lives are so miserable, they have to make everyone around them miserable too, so that they don’t feel so alone in this world.

They stop being productive. They stop trying new things. They are so caught up in the bad, that they are blind to all the good left in this world. They constantly remind you how fucked up this world is. How everybody is crazy. Blah Blah Blah….

We as a whole, have to learn to observe everything around us without automatically buying into it. Why are we convinced that just because someone is on tv talking about it, that it is reality. Or someone wrote a book about it, so they must be an authority on the subject, and speak the real truth.

FALSE. FALSE. FALSE.

Everyone perceives everything differently.

Everyone has different formed views.

Everyone has programmed their thoughts with what they had been taught since an early age.

There is no one way of thinking. There is no one real truth. There is no one reality.

We have to create our own reality. We need to decide if we want to be complainers by repeating gossip, fake news, and excuses why we are horrible human beings….

Or we can choose to turn off the news. Read something spiritual. Be moved by the good in this world. And produce something that gives value to us and others.

Someone once said “How you do anything, is how you do everything.” And that right there, is your life in a nutshell.

How are you expressing yourself? How are you doing things?

How much time do we actually spend learning or improving a skill? What have you learned to do in the last 6 months?

We give up way too easily. We grow comfortable where we are, and just decide that this is where we are meant to be. We invest our time and energy into something, or someone, that doesn’t give back. Doesn’t fulfill our desires. Doesn’t inspire us to learn and do more.

Les Brown once quoted “ The wealthiest place in the world is the cemetery. There lies the creativeness, knowledge, talent, ideas, inventions, and skills that never came to life.” That died with the person that never used them, from fear of failure.

How sad. How mortifying. We are given talents and skills like no one else, and we keep them hidden away. They never see daylight or stand in the sun.

Suffering feeds off of suffering. We need to decide to stop suffering, before we can accomplish anything in life.

We need to stop listening to those who spew words of failure and defeat. Who put self-doubt in our minds. We need to rid ourselves of negative and harmful news. Gossip. Tv shows. Podcasts. Music. And grab hold of something way more powerful than anything you have ever experienced before. Your soul singing the praises of you!!

Turn them off. Turn away. Delete them from your feed.

Stop the cycle.

Courage is the ability to go from failure to failure, without losing your desire to succeed. Keep trying. Keep learning. Keep developing. Keep nurturing all that is good and starve all that is bad.

I'm glad you stopped in to check it out! My purpose in creating this blog, is to give insight into how a positive outlook can overpower a negative life. It all starts with self-respect. I'm angry at myself for wasting so many years on things that weren't important in the end. Forgive yourself for doubting yourself. Work your mind. The mind gives power to the body. My hope is to help someone to believe in themselves again.
